Privacy Notice

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you request service, apply as a provider, join a membership, contact us, leave feedback, or request cancellation. This can include your name, email, phone number, service location, requested service details, provider business and credential information, membership details, and messages or feedback.

2. Payment information

Payments and recurring memberships are processed through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment-card information under its own privacy practices. MiaMadie does not store full payment-card numbers on this website.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and support bookings and memberships, match requests with appropriate nearby providers, process payments, manage provider quality and safety reviews, communicate with you, prevent fraud, improve our service, and comply with law.

4. How we share information

We share only the information reasonably needed to operate a request with the provider involved, and we share payment information with Stripe to process payments. A customer's precise service address, arrival instructions, and any optional location pin are kept private from unassigned providers and may be shared with the provider assigned to that customer's booking so the provider can travel to the service location. We may also share information with vendors that help run MiaMadie, or when required to protect rights, safety, prevent fraud, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information for advertising.

Mobile phone information, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide mobile information to service providers, such as our messaging carrier, only as needed to deliver and support the messages a recipient requested.

5. Optional SMS communications

Independent providers may voluntarily opt in through a separate unchecked checkbox on the MiaMadie application form to receive low-volume transactional text messages about available jobs and related account, service, or support updates. SMS consent is not a condition of applying, purchasing membership, or receiving service; providers who do not consent may receive communications by email or through their account instead. Message frequency varies based on provider eligibility, availability, and nearby customer requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out stops text alerts but does not cancel an application or membership or change other contractual obligations.

6. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for bookings, memberships, safety records, support, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use measures designed to protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Please do not send sensitive payment information by email.

7. Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails through the link in the message or by contacting us. Membership cancellation requests can be submitted through the website's membership support form.

8. Children

MiaMadie is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact
