Independent providers decide which work to accept and are responsible for how they perform it—including their workmanship, methods, tools, credentials, insurance, mistakes, omissions, and service-related damage.
MiaMadie does not supervise or guarantee an independent provider's work. This marketplace explanation does not remove duties or liability that applicable law does not allow MiaMadie to exclude.

Job completion and payout protectionThree separate confirmations protect both sides.+
THREE-STEP JOB CLOSEOUT
Both sides confirm what happened.
A contractor saying “done” is never enough by itself. Completion, departure, and customer approval are recorded separately so nobody is pressured into accepting unfinished work.
Mark work complete
The provider confirms the agreed scope is finished and submits accurate service notes or requested proof. This does not release payment.
Confirm departure
The customer confirms the provider has left the property. This records the end of the visit—it does not approve the work.
Approve or report
The customer approves the completed work or reports an incomplete job or concern. A concern keeps the payout under review.
Important: Confirming that the contractor left is not the same as accepting the work. Customer approval only makes the job eligible for MiaMadie payout review; it does not guarantee an immediate payout. Read the Terms of Use and Provider Terms.
Hourly bookings and added timeThe customer controls extensions and scope changes.+
HOURLY BOOKING PROTECTION
Time stays in the customer's control.
When client booking opens, customers choose enough time for the work. A provider can never add time just by staying longer.
Check in when ready
The first booked hour is the arrival minimum only after the provider checks in at the location, ready to begin the agreed work.
Approve added time
Beyond the first hour, the provider requests an additional 30 or 60 minutes before continuing. The customer must approve it in the platform.
Check out and settle
When leaving, the provider checks out. The record shows the time, approved additions, and a way for the customer to report a concern before payout.
If a two-hour booking ends after 30 minutes: when the provider arrived ready and there is no service issue, the customer pays the one-hour arrival minimum and the unused second hour is not charged. If the provider leaves early, cannot complete the agreed work, or there is a concern, the customer can report it for review before funds are released.
Independent service, real support: MiaMadie does not perform or guarantee an independent provider's work. It does provide booking records and a fair issue-review process for incomplete work, time concerns, or safety concerns.

CONTRACTOR PAY PROMISE
You keep the full agreed service price.
MiaMadie does not deduct a percentage or per-job platform commission from the service price you agree with the customer. Our separate $29 client platform fee supports dispatch and customer support; it is paid by the client and is not taken from the contractor's service price. Optional memberships are disclosed separately.
The MiaMadie three-strike rule
By applying, a provider agrees that only verified feedback from completed MiaMadie bookings may affect their standing. Each complaint is reviewed in good faith and the provider may respond. Three upheld negative review findings from separate jobs result in automatic removal from MiaMadie Services. Serious safety, fraud, harassment, theft, or licensing violations may result in immediate suspension or removal.
